Then join the Welfare Crew!

The Welfare Crew was set up two years ago mainly to help with Welfare's campaigns. The Crew meets approximately every 2-3 weeks (depending on Welfare's campaigns/issues at the time) in the Student Centre. Any student, from first-year to postgraduate level can join the crew at any stage during the year, just email welfarecrew@ucdsu.ie.

This year, the Welfare Crew's activities included putting up welfare posters around campus, painting a mural promoting Please Talk, distributing information on alcohol, sexual health and mental health, promoting the bi-weekly Bodywhys Support Group, organising a mental health Q&A session, collecting for the Irish Heart Foundation, BodyWhys and the Hospice, assisting the Welfare Officer in making decisions on the direction and events welfare ran, and much more.
