Programme Officers

What is a Programme Officer? How can they help?

Every Programme in UCD e.g. Business, Arts or Law all have a de facto head rep. The person acting as Programme Officer will assist and co-ordinate the activity of the class reps. Your Programme Officer sits on Programme Board in his/her degree programme. So in a nutshell, your Programme Officer has input into a big decision making board with your programme.

The Programme Officers also sit on Students' Union Council and Executive and usually a Programme Officer will be nominated for a seat on Academic Council which is a major decision making committee for the University. In other words, your Programme Officer has the ability to help you out in a variety of ways.
