Richview and Newstead (The land of Architecture and Urban Planning) are a little bit far from the main campus. You will notice that in Richview everybody knows each other. So once again, be as friendly as you can. For architecture try to spend as much time in your studio as you can. Work on your ideas in a notebook wherever you are and keep your head up so you don’t miss out on inspiration.
Tip: Bringing your own lunches (and dinners) is the most sensible thing. There is a kitchenette with a fridge, kettle and microwaves not like other faculties.
Use Richview library. It’s the quietest place on campus, always has free seats and is the biggest Architecture library in the country. When you need to buy materials, try and get them in large art supply shops in the city as it will be cheaper and don’t be afraid to use things you already have even if they are not the exact same as in the shop on campus. Be sensible about your spending.
