Job Spec:


  • Manage all designated retailer stockists on territory with an effective journey plan to ensure territory coverage is maximised

  • Visit existing and potential new retail stockists

  • Support staff training instore and remotely, using marketing assets where appropriate, in order to secure confident recommendation of Optibac

  • Support accounts by visiting to ensure our stockists have the correct distribution, shelves are representing our brand image well, to offer promotions and to oversee merchandising in order to maximise sales

  • Create new Opportunities via strong analysis of territory with our stockists to ensure we achieve secondary siting and new listings

  • Open new accounts, build key relationships across various levels and generate sales in both independent and regional accounts

  • Visit HCPs either in person or online, provide training to ensure recommendation

  • Work closely & collaboratively with our major distributors, partners, and their sales team

  • Efficiently manage own administration, a CRM system, and notes

  • Participate in trade and consumer shows

  • Regularly liaise with the Ireland Sales Team Leader and other internal stakeholders

  • Plan, together with the Ireland Sales Team Leader, and organise consumer and trade show

  • Participate, contribute and share best practice within team meetings

  • Manage free stock, marketing assets and any trade spend appropriately to drive the strongest commercial outcomes

  • Travel occasionally to the head office in Hampshire

  • Excellent communication skills with good capacity to tailor the delivery of technical information to different audiences

  • Proactive individual who thinks ‘outside of the box’

  • Strong organisational, collaboration and time management skills

  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office

  • Excellent relationship building skills with ability to gain customer loyalty from retail staff and HCP’s

  • Enthusiastic, positive, driven, hardworking, and self-motivated

  • Appreciation for the value of joining a growing family-ran business

€30,000 pa + car allowance + phone + laptop (negotiable)
