Haigh I'm Míde Nic Fhionnlaoich. I'm your Welfare Officer this year and I'm here to help with any of your student welfare needs.

I'm 22, and I'm from Conamara, Galway. I've just finished 4 years of Law with Social Justice. I spent that 4 years getting stuck into campus life through societies, student activism, and of course the Students' Union.

I first got involved with the Union in second year as Oifigeach na Gaeilge and have always been passionate about tackling the ever increasing problems students face with housing, mental health and consent.

To me the Union is all about making UCD a better place for students, helping each other and knowing that we are stronger together. If you have any issues this year please do reach out to welfare@ucdsu.ie and know you have a Welfare Officer here to support you alongside the rest of the team.
