Tell us a bit about yourself - I’m from Cork, I’m a Virgo and a die-hard Taylor Swift fan so make your assumptions as you will. My favourite place to hang out on campus is on the wall outside the library and if I am not there, you can find me in the Clubhouse - either behind the bar or drinking.
Why have you put yourself forward for election? – I have been in UCD for four years and have seen the Union’s worth. During my somewhat turbulent time here, the Union has supported me from every angle. I want to give back to students and create a more collaborative community, bringing us together on campaigns and issues affecting us all.
What’s the thing you love the most about UCD? Pi Breakfast, specifically their hash browns.
What’s your biggest problem with UCD? There are too many to list. Extortionate rent, the months long counselling waiting list, paying €254 for a student centre that is not being utilised effectively, and UCD always having students (who they call “customers”) last on their list of priorities (to name a few).
What music have you got stuck on repeat? All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor’s Version) (From the Vault). However, my favourite song is This Must Be The Place by Talking Heads (specifically the live version).
Would your playlist win or lose you votes? You tell me - check out my spotify @robynokeeffe lol
The world is a mental place at the moment and we could all use a laugh. Heard any good jokes recently? Why did Robyn cross the road? Because you can’t buy tobacco on campus.
