Ents Forum - We're Hiring

Looking to get involved in college? Help organise parties, events and decide what Entertainment comes to UCD next year! We are now recruiting our UCD Ents Forum for next year. As a member of the UCD Ents Forum, you will be involved in making all Ents decisions. We are now looking to fill the following roles:

- Production Officer
The Production role within the Ents Forum is designed to give students with an interest in event production an opportunity to gain experience in some of the biggest student productions in the country. The ideal candidate should have an interest and basic knowledge in production and logistics, especially regarding music events. Duties include: set up & take down, stage management, artist liaison, working with lighting, working with sound.
- Promotion Officer
The Promotion role within the Ents Forum will give the successful applicant the opportunity to sculpt numerous UCD Ents events and advertise them campus wide. All union and ents activities must be promoted to the student body. The successful candidate should be confident in their promotional abilities while also being eager to expand and develop their current skill sets. Unique and different methods of promotion are encouraged. Duties include: Social media marketing, guestlist control, advertising of events, idea generation. 
- Non - Alcoholic Events Coordinator 
UCD Ents aims to provide a diverse program of events as possible throughout the academic year. This includes, but is not limited to, food fairs, comedy shows, games & activities, sporting occasions, etc. The role of the Non – Alcoholic Events Coordinator is to plan, budget and execute these events with the Entertainment Manager on a regular basis. Duties include: Event organisation, Event management, budgeting, promotion of events. 
- Ents Crew Coordinator
The Ents Crew is of vital importance to the effectiveness of UCD Ents as a whole. A strong crew is highly dependent on strong leadership. The Ents Crew Coordinator’s role will be to identify and recruit a diverse crew from across the campus. The crew will aid in all things Ents, from production to promotion and everything in between. Constant contact and engagement with the crew is of paramount importance. Duties include: Communication, man management, logistical planning, promotion.
