Virtual Green Week
Virtual Green Week is coming to you!
Unfortunately all our in-person events have been cancelled due to the covid-19 outbreak! Eco UCD SU have been hard at work to bring a virtual version to you!
UCDSU Mental Health Coordinator Sarah in association with the Neurological Alliance Ireland bring Brain Day to UCD!
Brain Day will be moving online this year so keep an eye on our socials!
Mind Body Soul
Mind, Body and Soul here at UCDSU has always promoted wellness and creativity in times of stress.
Usually held before exams to take time to chill out in a busy period, we are now hosting this special event online to encourage people to look after their mind, body and soul, during self isolation
Heartfulness is a simple system of meditation and relaxation which can be easily integrated into our daily lives.
With regular practice, we can achieve a calmer and more balanced life.
SafeTALK is a half-day training program that teaches participants to recognize and engage persons who might be having thoughts of suicide and to connect them with community resources trained in suicide intervention.
The ShoutOut Student workshop is an interactive, dynamic and informative 90-minute long session where the facilitators explore LGBTQ+ terminology, scenarios where students can act as good allies, and ways in which to create a welcoming environment for LGBTQ+ students

Healthy Eating Week is on from February 24th - 28th.

Featuring a LIVE SHOW from the I'm Grand Mam duo Kevin & PJ, a Mná*Grá workshop, and lots of opportunities to win some luuurvely sex toys you do not want to miss out on SHAG Week!
Mini Mind Body Soul
Take a break from the library and come down to the Old Student Centre where we will be hosting a day full of workshops complemented by free refreshments and a chance to pet some bunny rabbits!
Lá na Gaeilge
Lá na Gaeilge will be on Tuesday November 5th, with events for everyone, whether you have the ‘cúpla focal’ or are a native speaker. It's a great chance to celebrate Ireland’s national language and have a bit of craic too.
Presentation Skills Workshop
Over three two-hour sessions with theory & practice, students will be equipped to develop and deliver a presentation of excellence and will have gained greater self confidence in their ability to speak in front of an audience.
Mind Your Mind Workshop
We can all be so hard on ourselves and we frequently feel like are not living up to our own or others’ expectations. What if I told you there is an alternative to continually judging and evaluating ourselves? The alternative can be acceptance and self-compassion.
