We currently employ 5 full-time officers elected each year by the students of UCD.

President
Katie Ascough

A 3rd year Science student who's working on cutting the cost for UCD students and bridging the gap between them and their SU, Katie's also the first female President to win a contested election since the turn of the millenium. Her major manifesto points are housing, fees, cheaper resits/repeats, student counselling, sexual consent and more microwaves so people have the option to reheat their lunch rather than buy it.

Campaigns & Communications Officer
Barry Murphy

No better man to communicate and campaign than a young fella from Carlow who lambs ewes on the side, Barry's always been for student life and trying to make a difference. He's the former auditor of UCD Volunteers Overseas and an environmental biology student. His major manifesto points are environmental change on campus, better and cheaper transport options, working better with clubs and societies and supporting existing campaigns like Consent UCD and UCD for Choice.
