Deadline Approaching for Course Withdrawal
UCD Students' Union (UCDSU) would like to remind all students of the upcoming 01 November 2024 deadline for officially withdrawing from your course if you are considering it.
Withdrawing on or before this date will make you eligible for a full refund of any payments made, subject to certain conditions under the Refunds Policy.
Key Information:
1.4: No refund will be issued if a balance of fees remains outstanding.
1.5: Booking fees and deposits are non-refundable (with exceptions as outlined in point 1.6).
UCDSU’s Education Officer, Tia Cullen, acknowledges that this can be a tough decision for students:
"Deciding to withdraw from your course is never easy, and it's important to make sure you're fully informed before making a final call. I encourage anyone considering it to reach out and discuss their options with their lecturers and student advisor. Just be aware of the fast-approaching deadline—after 01 November, you may lose access to the 'free fees' initiative."
If you're thinking about withdrawing or have any questions, don't hesitate to get in touch with UCD's student services. For more information, please review the Refunds Policy or contact the Fees Office directly.
